Ready to make some magic? Whether you’re pressing fresh tees or tricking out tumblers, we’ve got exactly what you need. Here is your ultimate cheat sheet to finding the perfect transfer match!
If you’re making t shirts, hoodies, or tote bags, DTF is your absolute best friend. These prints are wildly vibrant, super stretchy, and incredibly durable.
Think of UV DTF as a magic decal on steroids. It gives you a premium, glossy, raised 3D feel that is completely waterproof and scratch resistant.
Sublimation ink actually turns into a gas and permanently dyes the material. That means there is absolutely zero feel to the design, it literally becomes part of the shirt!
These aren't heat transfers; they're high quality, wildly colorful adhesive stickers ready for everyday fun.
| What are you making? | Your Perfect Match | Equipment Needed | Material Magic |
|---|---|---|---|
| Shirts, Hoodies & Totes | DTF | Heat Press | Any Fabric, Any Color |
| Tumblers, Mugs & Hard Goods | UV DTF | Just your hands! | Hard Surfaces, Any Color |
| Weightless Designs on Tees | Sublimation | Heat Press | High Poly Fabric, Light Colors Only |
| Packaging & Swag | Stickers | Just your hands! | Anything flat and clean! |
Let’s make sure your prints come out looking crisp, colorful, and absolutely flawless! The golden rule of printing is If your file is a hot mess, your print will be a hot mess! So if you want a beautiful, high quality transfer, you need to feed us a beautiful, high quality file. Here is exactly what you need to know to get your artwork print ready!
No matter which transfer type you are ordering, these three rules are your best friends:
DTF & UV DTF — Keep Your Edges Sharp! ✂️ Because both DTF and UV DTF lay down a solid base layer (white ink for DTF, and glue/varnish for UV), they do not like "soft" or semi transparent edges. Avoid glowing effects, drop shadows, or fading smoke designs. Keep your lines sharp, solid, and 100% opaque for the best results!
Sublimation — White is an Illusion 👻 Remember our Sublimation magic trick? Sublimation printers do not print white ink. If your PNG file has white text or a white graphic, it will simply be completely clear when printed. The "white" parts of your design will just be whatever color shirt or blank you press it onto!
Stickers — Give Us Some Space 📏 If you want a specific white border (die cut style) around your sticker, you can build that directly into your PNG file! Otherwise, make sure your artwork goes cleanly to the edges of your canvas.
| Rule | What to do | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| File Type | PNG | Preserves quality and allows for transparent backgrounds. |
| Resolution | 300 DPI | Keeps your design crystal clear and prevents pixelated, blurry prints. |
| Background | Transparent | Ensures we only print your design, not the big white box behind it. |
| Sizing | Exact Print Size | If you want a 10 inch design, make your image 10 inches! |
| Mirroring? | Don't do it! | Upload your file exactly as you want to see it. We handle the mirroring on our end! |
Building a gang sheet is the ultimate cheat code for maxing out your film, here is how to pack it like a pro.
(Seriously, do not skip this.) We cannot stress this enough, your transfers are only as good as the artwork you hand over. Before you even touch that builder button, make sure your PNGs are crystal clear, fully transparent, and bursting with high res goodness. If you're second guessing whether your artwork is ready to rock, pump the brakes and check out our File Prep Guide.
Got your pristine artwork ready? Time to dive into the Gang Sheet Builder. You get to choose your own adventure here:
Take one last look at your masterpiece. Is that sheet packed tight? Heck yes, it is. Hit that "Place Order" button and let us take it from here. We’ll grab your layout, queue it up, and fire up the printers to bring it to life.
Literally whatever you want! We don’t box you into boring pre set sizes or tiny print areas. As long as your artwork fits within our massive film rolls, the sky is the limit.
Here are the only two boundaries you need to remember:
Need a tiny 2 inch left chest logo? Done. Pushing out a bold 16 inch graphic for an oversized hoodie? Easy. Want to build a 22" x 300" mega gang sheet packed with enough designs to launch an entire clothing line? Let’s get to work!
If you can dream it (and fit it inside those dimensions), we will print it.
We don’t mess around when it comes to getting your transfers out the door. We know you have garments to press and money to make, so we keep things moving fast.
You bring the flawless files, we bring the lightning speed! ⚡
Time to bring those designs to life! Every transfer type has its own set of rules, so put down the iron (seriously, use a commercial heat press for apparel) and check out your ultimate application cheat sheet below:
Applying DTF is all about a steady rhythm. Crank that heat press to 310°F and follow the holy trinity of tens:
Because sublimation turns into a gas and bonds with polyester coatings, the perfect time and temp depend 100% on what you are pressing it onto. A fluffy poly tee needs totally different heat than a ceramic mug!
The Rule: Always refer to the manufacturer's instructions for the specific blank item you are using. They will tell you the exact temperature and time needed to get that flawless, vibrant pop.
Keep that heat press turned off! Heat will completely melt and ruin these transfers.
No heat, no heavy machinery, just instant gratification!
⚡️Because we print and ship at lightning speed, our production line is highly automated. That means whatever you upload goes straight to the presses. We do not manually open, proof, or tweak your artwork before printing. Remember our golden rule: If your file is a hot mess, your print will be a hot mess! 🚨
But we never want to leave you hanging! If you are stressing over a stubborn white background, wondering if your resolution is high enough, or just need a seasoned set of eyes on your design before you hit that order button, we’ve got your back.
Just hit pause 🛑 on placing your order and hit us up in our Facebook group 💌. We would way rather help you dial in a file beforehand than watch you waste your hard earned money on a bad print! 💸
